Letter to Abe Rosenthal, New York Times

Dear Abe:

I read your piece on female genital mutilation (12/29/92).

First reaction: How dare you impose your values...

Second reaction: Be open-minded to other cultures...who do you think you are...Columbus?

Third reaction: If we can abort fetuses (you were one once), they can do anything less exterminative.

Fourth reaction: Send abortionists over there and get rid of those girls before they are born so you will not have to suffer what you don't like to see.
